Module 2: Introduction to Excel & Spreadsheets

Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets are the most popular and simple data analysis software. This module walks you through the use of excel. You will learn how to perform basic and complex excel functions such as arithmetic and statistical functions.

Module 3: SQL for Data Analytics (Part 1)

SQL means Structured Query language. It is a declarative and domain-specific language mostly used by business analysts, software engineers, data analysts, and many other professions that make use of data. In this module, you’ll first learn to extract or download data from a database, join tables together, and perform aggregations. Then you’ll learn to do more complex analysis and manipulations using subqueries, temp tables, and window functions.

Data is readily available to capture but one of the toughest tasks for Data analysts is connecting the dots between multiple sources and types of data. This module teaches you how to connect multiple data sources to tableau and the skills needed to prepare, analyze, manipulate, and visualize the data.

Module 6: PowerBI Visualization (Part 2)

Data Visualisation tool that is widely used for Business Intelligence but is not limited to it. It helps create interactive graphs and charts in the form of dashboards and worksheets to gain business insights. And all of this is made possible with gestures as simple as drag and drop!

In this module, you will learn how to apply visualization principles to the data analysis process. Explore data visually at multiple levels to find insights and create an engaging story.

Module 7: Capstone Project
